Pause and reflect

It is particularly important to pause and reflect as we read through the account of the early Church, because so much changes so fast!

This week we have seen Gentiles included in the ranks of believers. That is as revolutionary as saying Communists or Muslim extremists can be included! Up to this point, God's people have been marked by their separation from "the rest" - now that separation is ended and the only criterion for inclusion in God's chosen people is faith in Jesus!

As you review your journaling this week, and as you pause to reflect, let the tsunami of God's grace overwhelm you again! If you have accepted God's gift of relationship in Jesus, this is YOUR portion, along with countless others who have done the same. The barriers to relationship with God are swept away. Who will you invite to come in?
