Ezra -- Ezra reads the law to the people & the benefits of Bible reading.

Today's Readings:

Reading 1: Nehemiah 8

Reading 2: Nehemiah 9

Reading 3: Deuteronomy 31:9-13

When Moses gave God's Law to the people God chose, he promised them success and blessing if they lived by it. Of course the Story we have been following shows that they did not, but now they begin to restore those blessings.

With the wall completed, the Word is read, and the people respond in faith, repentance and prayer. God's Word is powerful, and we can expect great results from obeying it!
