Pause and Reflect: Hardship and miraculous restoration.

As we have read about multiple hardships in the past days, how have you responded? Have you been aware of your own hardships, wondering "How long, O Lord?" Have you been reminded of the hardships of others (a loved one, a friend, or a famous person you know is suffering)?

Today we reflect on hardships in the light of God's supernatural restoration of the dry bones, which prefigures the miracle of us being given eternal life as a gift when we were dead in our sins.

Many of these reflections were originally written in a season of hardship in my life, which is now past. I want to encourage you that God's love is eternal, and He is faithful. Sorrow may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Trust God's timing, whether for yourself, or as you observe hardships around you.

"God Saves" (Jesus) is more than just a name: it is a declaration of eternal purpose. Look to Him today, and let Him step into each hardship again.

Have a great day!

Mark.
