Day 80, Matthew 26

Matthew 26

We close the week with Matthew’s account of the actions and choices that led to the crucifixion. Of course the fundamental choices had been made much earlier: the Sanhedrin chose to do away with Jesus, the apostles chose to follow, and the Godhead chose to rescue fallen humanity!

As you read today, beware of familiarity causing blindness! There are so many details that reveal God’s heart in this chapter. Let Him point out details to you that you may have missed in the past or forgotten through repeated reading!

May the wonder of the love of God, made tangible in Jesus, flood your heart and spirit again today!

Have a great day!

Mark.
